Softball – Recreational

League Details

SEASON:  May - July

T-Ball CoEd (PreK-Kindergarten) - This division is grade-based for boys and girls currently in Kindergarten or who will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall.   It is an introductory league focusing the proper mechanics of throwing, catching, hitting and base running.  Hitting from the tee builds the necessary hand-eye coordination and muscle memory to be successful when hitting a pitch.

Coach Pitch (1st-2nd Grades) -  This division introduces hitting a ball pitched by your coach.  Learning, having fun and building teamwork are the emphasis while teaching proper throwing, catching, hitting and base running mechanics.

Pigtail (3rd-5th Grades) -  This is an exciting year for young pitchers and players to develop a love for Fastpitch softball.  Pitching, stealing and sliding are introduced with an emphasis on reinforcing proper throwing, catching, hitting and base running mechanics.

Ponytail (6th-8th Grades) - Slowpitch Softball Tri-County - This team will participate in the Tri-County League and will play games at Kenston and neighboring communities. The league emphasis is on development, learning, and fun.
