Youth Kayaking 101

Ages 7-15 years
Thursday, July 8th 6:30pm-8:00pm
LaDue Boat House

Get wet this summer. This 1.5 hour class is for kids ages 7 – 14 with or without an accompanying parent. The class is FREE for any parent who would like to participate in the class with their child. Maximum, one accompanying adult per child. Z

This beginner course emphasizes paddle strokes and technique. Paddlers should come prepared to get wet and have some fun. Check in starts at 6 pm..

Class will take place at LaDue Boathouse and Marina located at 17759 Valley Road, Auburn Twp., Ohio 44023. Take E. Washington all the way until it dead ends at the lake.

Clothing appropriate for the day’s weather. A shirt is required under the lifejacket. Water shoes or closed toed shoes.

Adult Kayaking 101

15 years and up

This 1.5 hour class is a beginner kayaking class and is designed for adults who want to learn the right way to kayak. The course emphasizes safety, technique and proper paddling strokes. Paddlers should come prepared to get wet and have some fun.

Class will take place at LaDue Boathouse and Marina located at 17759 Valley Road, Auburn Twp., Ohio 44023. Take E. Washington all the way until it dead ends at the
lake.

Breakaway Excursions will provide the kayak, paddle, lifejacket and instruction.
