KCE provides recreational and enrichment opportunities for the citizens of Auburn and Bainbridge Township. High School Rec Basketball

DRAFT NIGHT

Wednesday, February 12th 7pm
KMS Betty Patton Room


Players MUST BE REGISTERED before 1st draft pick at 7pm on 2/12!

This league is for players who are in 9th thru 12th grade.

Games are played primarily on Sundays between 12-8p. Each team will receive one weekday practice based on coach preference/availability.

Coaches are needed! Please register to coach on the KCE sports page if you can help. All coaches are expected to attend the draft on 2/12.

Players are also invited to attend and enjoy complimentary pizza & pop.

Standardized Test Prep (SAT/PSAT/ACT)

Tuesdays, February 11th – 25th
7:00pm-9:00pm
KHS Innovation Lab

Techniques, Familiarity, and Practice!

There is more to standardized testing than just knowledge of material. This course will:

  • familiarize students with: the types of questions they will encounter,
  • introduce strategies for attacking different types of questions,
  • develop reading for comprehension skills,
  • present vocabulary and grammar in context,
  • utilize strategies to eliminate incorrect answers,
  • help students develop an individualized pace,
  • and much more.

This course will include skills specific to the free SAT exam held in March at Kenston High School.

Please bring the calculator you plan on using for the test to every session.

Practice material will be provided.
